Side Pain

Are you experiencing a pain on your right side of your lower chest and have nausea, vomiting and frequent gas?  It could be your gallbladder and this can be not only painful but frightening.  It is because of this pain and fear than many who have a gallbladder attack, will opt for surgery so that they will never have that experience again. But how many people know that there are natural foods and supplements that can manage this disease so that surgery is not needed?

The gallbladder pain that is felt just below the rib cage could be from stones that are blocking the bile duct or it can also be from the swelling or inflammation of the gallbladder. This pain can be so severe that it can actually take your breath away. You will probably have trouble walking in an upright position as this pain can be felt up the back and to the shoulder blades.

Gallbladder pain symptoms are commonly known to be the back shoulder blade chest pain and this pain can come and go or it can stay and be a constant pain.  It might feel dull or it can be sharp and generally will happen at night. Typically, a gallbladder attack will last anywhere from one to four hours.  Pain in this area of your body does not guarantee that it is your gallbladder so a doctor should be seen right away so that you can find out exactly what is happening. To be able to improve the health of your gallbladder, you must educate yourself on how the gallbladder and biliary system works.  Understanding the root of your problem is something you must discover.  Your gallbladder is a small organ that stores bile and this is used to help with digestion. This bile is used for the fatty foods that you eat. It is actually the liver that produces the bile, but it is then stored in the gallbladder where it is then concentrated. Gallbladder cancer is rare with about four hundred people diagnosed each year in the UK. Stones in the gallbladder can be dissolved by drugs or sound waves can be used to shatter them but after this is done, there is not guarantee that this condition will not happen again. The only permanent solution is to remove the gallbladder altogether. But surgery will have its risks also. Although this procedure is safe, there is the chance for internal bleeding or even an infection. There can also be blood clots that can travel to the lungs and cause breathing problems.
