There are a lot of different kinds of stresses that human kind can undergo. For the most part, we need them so that we can be motivated to do the things that we want to do. However, you must understand that when it comes to stress, a moderate type should only be handled and not the severe ones. In post-traumatic stress disorders, there are a lot of things that you should watch out for. PTSD symptoms will surely be obvious but they need to be examined too.

One of the many symptoms is social withdrawal. After what these people have been through, they would not want to socialize since being alone gives them the comfort that they need. Also, a mistrusting behaviour is what you would mostly see. In severe case, the inability to talk is one thing that you could notice. They are not able to say anything and it would also be hard to asses if they understand anything.

Debriefing is a good method but it would not work with PTSD. A good psychologist will have to be contacted for this job.

Noticeable improvement in symptoms of inattention and hyperactivity was seen in foster children who are place n stable and loving homes, compared to children who get moved around a lot. “Stability is a tremendous factors that contribute to better adjustment for these symptoms, are the parenting environment and the numbers of homes,” claims L. Oriana Linares, lead author of a study appearing in the March issue of Pediatrics.
An associate professor of pediatrics and psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, Linares noticed that the children in the study did not actually have attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, known better as ADHD, but showed signs of impulsivity and inattention. These signs are very prevalent in children who are placed in foster homes.
“When the foster mom returns the child to the agency and says the child is unmanageable, is a common reason for what is known as failed placement,” Linares said. Experts have little information on whether the symptoms lessen over time, or worsen and what it is that affects that trajectory.
