Brain tumors can be one of two types. It can be malignant or it can be benign. It is the benign ones that have no cancer cells in them. Typically, a benign brain tumor is removed without a chance for it to grow back. When a specialist looks at the tumor on an x-ray, he will see and clear edge telling him that the tumor has not spread into the nearby tissues. It can put pressure on the part of the brain where it is located and this can cause health problems that can be serious.

Symptoms of a brain tumor can range from seizures to a headache.  You will notice symptoms only when the tumor has begun to put pressure on the central nervous system or if there is growth that effects the brain.
